Wahminda Park

This is the concept plan for the Wahminda Park upgrade received from the Moreton Bay Regional Council.  The project is to be completed in two stages, with the first stage commencing shortly.  A copy of the plan has been laminated and is on display at the Courts.

The Courts are located on the opposite side of Samford Road to Ironbark Gully and Lomandra Picnic Area.

Availability- click here to find out when the courts are available.  Bookings can be arranged by ringing our booking agent, Daphne Bale on 0423 492 782 8:30am - 9:30am or 8:30pm - 9:30pm Monday to Friday.

The aim of the Ferny Hills Progress Association was to provide tennis facilities at a low cost so that families in the area could afford to use them. This is something the Ferny Hills Progress Association still thinks is important.  The courts are managed by the Ferny Hills Progress Association, a group of people who are residents of the area who give their time voluntarily.

The Association also wishes to express its gratitude to the Pine Rivers Shire Council (from whom Wahminda Park is leased) for the provision of an interest free loan in 2000 which allowed us to resurface the Courts.

Coaching for young and old has always been available.  If you are interested in lessons please contact  Daphne Bale on 3351 4737 for further information or click here.
